This cartoon idea came to me unfortunately more than one time during the past few years watching all the spending that has gone on. Things like using IOU's in the social security fund to pay for other programs and other Ponsi scheme tactics are making it less and less likely those future generations will be unable to enjoy a quality of life that has been afforded to the current generations. I look at all this and wonder one, do our elected officials even think or care about it and two, if they do, what's the plan or can there be a plan? Is it too far gone at this point and should we begin to prepare our children and children's children for a lesser quality of life? Just some of the more serious thoughts that roll through my mind from time to time and this cartoon is a result of such thoughts. Enjoy and have a great day.
