I got this cartoon idea from more of the back and forth about weather or not this thing will work as it currently sits. The debate of weather or not there is social engineering in it or not I think the argument that yes it will create some jobs at a tremendous only as government can do it cost per job. The real question should be sustainable jobs and this is where I think this plan alone falls apart. Infrastructure and schools being updated is great and necessary no doubt but what happens when those projects are complete. Granted that day will be some time in the not so near future but what then? What do all these construction workers etc. do? Do we care? The other question should be how does it get paid for in the absence of revenue generating jobs? I guess my point would be that both ideologies might hold a piece of the answer. A blend of corporate tax cuts and infrastructure spending would seem to be the balance that is needed. I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination but from a common sense standpoint and listening to both sides, it seems to me that it could work but unfortunately our government and populace does not seem too interested in the concept of a balanced approach. Anyway, this cartoon came from all this miss-mosh of thinking. Enjoy and have a great day!

Ira, here is a thought for you. You know I love your creativity so take a look at my last article and see what you can come up with? I sort of picture a grave with a banker, a bill collector and a lawyer. I'm sure you can fill in the wording. Good job once again. Robert
