Political Cartoon Humor, Pork-Oholics Anonymous

I had heard that when Obama had asked about getting his economic stimulus package put together, he requested that there were no ear marks or pork in the plan. My immediate and very cynical thought was "yea….right". These people are like the kids of Hollywood producers at the mall with mommy and daddy's credit cards. You know "CHAAARRRGE IT!" They have been wasting money for so long on useless pet projects that not being able to do so might throw them into withdrawals or something along those lines. I guess we will see how it goes but this cartoon came from thinking about someone in congress sitting in the corner sweating and shaking looking for their next opportunity to spend money that is not theirs in the form of legislation to give their state the biggest Christmas Tree or to do a study on dog poop and it's effect on the environment.
