I was thinking about the Automakers and the whole drama that unfolded during their quest for money a month or so ago and wondered how the money was being used and also when they would be coming back for another round and the government pub. This cartoon is one of the ideas I had during the hearings where congress was grilling the big three for showing up the first time using the corporate jets. I thought it was a cute display of our elected officials criticizing people on the proper use of money in an attempt to make everyone believe they were only looking out for our best interest when behind the scenes some of them are guilty of the same type of behavior even still today I would assume. This cartoon is a representation of the two crossing paths on the tarmac today and what the verbal exchange might sound like. Enjoy and have a great day.

As you know great humor. Have you heard that our "all American" car manufacturers have helped china design car that is a hybrid that will be on the market next year. Yes the technology, factory state of the art and will compete against guess who, them. Do we really think they are hurting? Perhaps a cartoon showing them getting onto that plane with a briefcase full of American tax dollars being stuffed by congress is appropriate? Good job as usual. A picture says a thousand words.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I had done one called, "Cartoon Humor, Two of the Auto Makers Go Green", a little while ago that I was trying to illustrate the American tax dollar idea. Not sure I achieved it though.
 
I did not know about the deal in China. Interesting, I'll have to toss that around in the old noodle for a while and see if something comes of it.

Another great one. And how sadly funny it was to witness that incident about them using corporate jets....hilarious! Such an ironic place we live in, huh?
